Dear Parents/Guardians,

On behalf of Froebel House and its staff, I wanted to extend our gratitude for your cooperation and partnership in helping the school get up and running after such a long time closed. Thankfully, this last week has gone well, despite a new schedule and the pressure on the community as a whole. The positive ‘can do’ attitude, demonstrated by all, has enabled us to reach the end of the week with great success.

Thank you.

I would hasten to add, I am very much aware the timings are not always conducive to pick-ups, with siblings split and parents sometimes having to wait. Although this is inconvenient, it allows us to have an equitable and fair learning platform so all children benefit to the full. Again, thank you for your support in this regard.

One of the most pleasing aspects of the children’s return has been the way in which they have adapted to their new routine and most importantly, have got back into their work. Teachers have been pleased with the children’s attitude to date and I believe, in essence, the packs the children worked with during the lockdown, and with mum and dads’ vital help, have enabled the children to return in a good place. They are clearly ready to work hard through until the third week of July.

Home schooling is not an easy task at the best of times. For the children to have completed the level of work they have, during the strains and stresses so many households have been under, is a huge testament to the efforts of you as parents. Again, on behalf of myself, the teachers, and the staff – thank you.

Wishing you all a restful weekend and I look forward to another good week upon our return on Monday.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Roberts
