Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the December edition of the Froebel House Newsletter. As we all look forward to some welcome respite, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our young learners, parents and staff who have helped make these last few months, although particularly challenging, in many ways, one of the most rewarding Autumn terms to date – despite the challenges.
The year, although defined by the COVID-19 events, has allowed (through a modified schedule) the Froebel staff to address any learning gaps that may have arisen through the lockdown. This has placed our community of young learners on a sound academic footing as we head into the new year. Especially pleasing has been the way the Reception Class have transitioned remarkably well, despite many months without their formal nursery education. I wish you all a very merry Christmas, a happy holiday period and a prosperous New Year. We look forward to seeing everybody back in school on Tuesday January 5th for the start of the Spring Term.
Your Sincerely, Mr Roberts Headteacher
